On behalf of
the Minister for Police, I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question.
(1) The Morley Police Station works
include enlargement of the general office, toilets, change rooms and locker
areas. A new shift supervisor's office and amenities room will also be
constructed. The air-conditioning system will also be replaced as part of these
works.
(2) It is expected in November 2014.
(3) The works at Morley Police
Station are part of a broader west metropolitan district accommodation upgrade
program, which has a total budget of $11.75 million.
(4) With the upgrade and
refurbishments to the station, it will have the future capacity to accommodate
up to 81 full-time equivalent staff rostered over three shifts.
