Department of the Premier and Cabinet advises:
(1) $185.00 (excluding GST) per hour up to a maximum of $1,480.00 per day (excluding GST).
(2) 20 February 2009 - 30 June 2009, subject to extension by mutual agreement.
(3) The terms of the contract are as follows:
(a) Services and Deliverables
The Consultant will provide services to and as required by the Minister for Energy on energy matters in accordance with the terms of reference.
(b) Term of Engagement
The term of engagement commenced 20 February 2009 and continues, unless terminated earlier, until 30 June 2009. The term of engagement may be extended by mutual consent.
(c) Location
Services will be provided at locations determined by the Principal.
(d) Consultancy Fee
(i) The fees are agreed at the rate of $185 per hour (excluding GST) to a maximum of $1,480 per day (excluding GST).
(ii) Subject to sub-clause 4(d), the consultancy fee includes all costs associated with providing the services.
(iii) The total consultancy fee shall not exceed $100,000 (excluding GST) plus approved expenses without the prior written agreement of the principal.
(iv) Where the Consultant is required to undertake travel outside the Perth Metropolitan Area in the performance of services, the Consultant is entitled to claim limited actual reasonable travel, accommodation and subsistence expenses.
(4) The value of the contract is not to exceed $100,000 (excluding GST) plus approved expenses without the prior written agreement of the Principal.
