The Minister for Energy has been provided with the following response
(1) I have received a proposal from Synergy for an increase to the SmartPower tariff effective from 1 July 2009. This proposal is to be considered by Government.
(2) The NaturalPower premium is scheduled to increase from 4.4 cents per kilowatt hour to 6.10 cents per kilowatt hour (GST inclusive) from 1 July 2009.
