NOALIMBA ACCOMMODATION AND CONFERENCE CENTRE, SALE
I refer to the Government’s decision to sell the Noalimba Accommodation and Conference Centre. Will the Government give an absolute assurance that all the proceeds of the sale of Noalimba will be used to upgrade other Department of Sport and Recreation camps; and, if not, why not? Hon GRAHAM GIFFARD

I thank the member for some notice of this question. As the amount of net proceeds from the Noalimba Accommodation and Conference Centre disposal is yet to be determined, the Government remains committed to applying the requisite available funds to the upgrade of the remaining Department of Sport and Recreation camps. Hon Norman Moore: The press release said it would be $12 million.
