(1) In light of the planning that has started for the Inner City College on Kitchener Park in Subiaco (with Stage 1 due to open in 2020), can the Minister please outline what protections are currently in place to ensure that the City Beach High School site will remain reserved for education purposes? (2) Can the Minister please advise what the caveats are with respect to the Perry Lakes Trust Fund and other related instruments and whether there are any restrictions on the site at present?

1. The former City Beach High site is located on a crown reserve and is under the management of the Department of Education. The land is currently zoned under the Metropolitan Region Scheme and Town Planning Scheme for a high school. A proposed change of use would require an amendment to these planning schemes.
The following caveats or encumbrances are in place:
2. The Perry Lakes Trust Fund is controlled and administered by the Minister for Planning. Her office has advised the Perry Lakes Trust Fund does not apply to the former City Beach High School site or Kitchener Park site.
