With regard to the current patient transfer regimen from the Western Desert Aboriginal Communities of Punmu, Parnngurr, Kunawarritji and Jigalong to Newman or Port Hedland, I ask —
(1) Has there been an evaluation of the effectiveness of the current system of patient transfer from each of these Western Desert communities to the hospitals or public health clinics in Newman or Port Hedland?
(2) If yes to (1), what were the results of the evaluation, and can the Minister please table the reports?
(3) If yes to (1), what action has been taken on the recommendations contained within the evaluation reports?
(4) If no to (1), why not?
(5) Does any of this patient transfer result in patients needing to stay in Newman on their way to Port Hedland?
(6) If yes to (5), what accommodation and support is provided for them in Newman?
