MANAGEMENT AND WORKS — INSOLVENT HEAD CONTRACTOR
815. Hon KATE DOUST to the Minister for Finance:
In relation to the engagement of head contractors by Building
Management and Works for the delivery of Building the Education Revolution
projects that are currently trading with the appointment of an external
administrator, I ask for each head contractor —
(1) When were external administrators appointed?
(2) How much
money has the state government withheld from each named head contractor in
question?
(3) On which
date was the last statutory declaration titled ''Payment to
Subcontractors'' received by BMW from that head contractor?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of this
question. Notice of this question was received on Tuesday, 16 October. I think
that since this answer was prepared, there may have been a further development
in this case. Therefore, the information in (1) is correct as at Tuesday, but
it may have advanced from there.
(1) Briklay Pty Ltd was placed in voluntary administration on
12 September 2012.
