Ngurrawaana Remote Community School — school buildings relocation
I refer to the minister’s answer to my question without notice 660 about the Ngurrawaana Remote Community School. (1) Where and how will the children still living in the Ngurrawaana community receive schooling? (2) Will these children and their families be forced to move to Roebourne to get an education? (3) Will additional housing stock be made available by the state government in Roebourne for families who have to move from their community to be close to educational resources? (4) Will the Department of Education and Training leave any buildings and facilities in the Ngurrawaana community for the future needs of educational services afforded to the community? (2) No. (3) Not applicable. (4) Yes. As stated previously, the Department of Education and Training has not closed the school.
