I refer to the most recently completed Building Condition Assessment (BCA) of WA public schools, and I ask: (a) What is the estimated total cost to repair all of the defects identified in the most recently completed BCA; (b) What is the estimated total cost to repair all of the Priority 1 defects identified in the most recently completed BCA; and (c) Please provide an equivalent answer to (b) for the following priority levels: (i) Priority 2; (ii) Priority 3; (iii) Priority 4; (iv) Priority 5; (v) Priority 6; (vi) Priority 7; (vii) Priority 8; and (viii) Priority 9?

Since coming to office, this WA Labor Government has reduced the total number of defects in public schools by more than 70 per cent across both metropolitan and regional WA.
The Department of Education advises:
(a) – (c)
The 2022-23 Building Condition Assessment report provides an assessment of defects at the time of inspection and is used to inform future maintenance works and programs by the Department.
The State Government has addressed all Priority 1 defects identified in the latest report and has recently allocated an additional $11.3 million to address further priority maintenance items.
