Regarding the proposed siting of a Multi Purpose Service (MPS) on the Denmark Community Park, I ask -
(1) Has an environmental impact assessment been undertaken for the Community Park site?
(2) If yes, can the Minister provide a copy of this environmental impact assessment?
(3) If not, why not?
(4) If yes to (1), can the Minister indicate whether the contractor’s environmental assessment has been accepted by the Department of Environment?
(5) Has any statutory planning been undertaken for the Community Park site?
(6) If yes to (5), can the Minister indicate whether the proposal has been accepted by the Department of Planning and Infrastructure for assessment?
(7) If yes to (5), can the Minister provide a copy of that proposal?
(8) If not to (5), why not?

(3) A full environmental study including the development of an Environmental Management Plan will be commissioned once a site feasibility study (for building related issues) has been completed. (4) Preliminary advice has been provided to the Department of Environment. An Environmental Management Plan will be prepared to meet the requirements of the Department of Environment. (5) A site feasibility study to identify any building related issues is in the process of being commissioned. (6) The planning for the project has not yet reached this stage. (7) Not applicable.
