(a) There are no ‘Mine Management Plans’ mentioned in the Mining Act 1978 .
(b) The Mining Development and Closure Proposal (MDCP) framework took effect on 9 September 2025 with the commencement of the Mining Amendment Act 2022. From 9 September 2025 to 31 December 2025, 66 MDCPs were received.
(c) MDCPs submitted since 9 September 2025 are meeting target timeframes.
