(1) Information on where the majority of mining companies are headquartered in Western Australia is not available in the records of the Department of Mines and Petroleum. The Department deals with mining companies through the address shown in the Department's electronic title register system. In a majority of cases the listed address for companies is with an agent or title services consultants.
For petroleum companies the leading postcodes are:
6000, 6005, 6009, 6001, 6006, 6011, 6015 and 6959
