I thank the honourable member for some notice of this question. The
Department of Health has advised as follows —
(1) A report dealing with a review of the WA
Health gift policy will be provided to the acting director general before the
end of August 2014.
(2) A revised WA Health gift policy will be
implemented once the acting director general has considered and approved the
recommendations contained in the review report of August 2014. The updated
policy is expected to be in place by the end of September 2014.
