I note the recent
announcement of the WA Stolen Generations Redress scheme, which is open for
applications.
(1) Does the government have plans to establish a
similar scheme for survivors of forced adoption?
(2) If so, when will this happen?
(3) If no to (1), what are the reasons for this
decision?

been provided by the Minister for Child Protection.
(1)–(3) As per the Western Australian Government First Annual
Implementation Progress Report of the Government Response to Report 66—Broken
Bonds, Fractured Lives 2024–25 , tabled in Parliament on 22
October 2025, a forced adoption redress scheme remains under consideration.
