527. Mr BROWN to the Premier:
(1) Is the Government committed to a strong partnership with the community?
(2) If so, how does the Premier rationalise this stance in light of the Governments decision to place a Prison at the Pyrton site in Eden Hill, contrary to the wishes of the local community?
(3) Does the Premier accept that the majority of the local community do not want the Prison located on the site?
(4) If not, why not?
(5) Will the Government, in light of its commitment to strong partnership with the community, conduct a plebiscite of the local community to determine whether the community want the prison located in the area and if they do not, locate it somewhere else?
(6) If not, why not?
