FREMANTLE PORT — IRON ORE EXPORTS
I have a supplementary question. Did the minister discuss this matter in any shape or form with the member for Fremantle prior to his announcement; and, if so, when, where and in what context? Mr T.R. BUSWELL

I discussed this matter with both local members who would be impacted by it. The one who will be perhaps the most significantly impacted is the member for Cottesloe, and the other is the member for Fremantle. The member for Fremantle, as I recall, drew to my attention — Mrs M.H. Roberts interjected. Mr T.R. BUSWELL : She drew to my attention Cazaly’s public announcement last week and indicated to me that she would seek further advice from the port on Monday. That was the sum totality of the conversation. Mr M. McGowan interjected.
