I refer to Legislative Council
question on notice 2517 and tabled paper 3339 regarding the major maintenance
blitz at schools.
(1) Have there been any changes in
the allocation of funding that was provided to individual schools?
(2) Will the minister please
identify the schools impacted by the funding changes?
(3) Will the minister please
identify the reason for the variance in funding in each case?

I thank the honourable member for

(1)–(3) Yes.
The original amounts provided to schools as part of the McGowan government's
$200 million school maintenance blitz announcement were notional and subject to
contractor assessment and evaluation. I am pleased
to advise the member that as the program has been rolled out, additional
allocations have been made to schools for shade structures and
playground equipment, operable walls, remote community covered structures and
allocations for traffic management. I table the attached information.
