1299. Hon SALLY TALBOT to the Leader of the
House representing the Minister for Training and Workforce Development:
I refer to the answer to question
without notice 1258, which was provided on 9 November 2016.
(1) What are the
names of the managing director, the family member and the private training
organisation referred to in the minister's answer?
(2) Has this
private training organisation had contracts with any TAFE colleges or other
providers in receipt of department funding for training that are operating in Western
Australia in the last five years, including current contracts?
(3) Is this
private training organisation currently applying for contracts with any TAFE
colleges or other providers in receipt of department funding for training that
are operating in Western Australia?
(4) If yes to (2)
and/or (3), please provide details of these contracts, including the value of
the contract and the goods and services contracted.

who is from North Regional TAFE, is Kevin Doig. The family member is Katherine
Jafari and the training organisation is Good Earth Training Pty Ltd.
(2) Good Earth
Training last held a contract with the Department of Training and Workforce
Development in 2011 for delivery under the productivity places program for
existing workers.
(3) No, not that
the Department of Training and Workforce Development is aware of via its
contracting processes for registered training organisations.
