PRINCESS MARGARET HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN —
SERVICE CONTRACT AGREEMENTS
594. Hon MARTIN PRITCHARD to
the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Health:
I refer to service contracts or
agreements for services at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children.
(1) Have any of
these contracts or agreements been extended recently; and, if so, why?
(2) Are there any plans to extend
any of these contracts or agreements; and, if so, why?

AnswerView source ↗

I would like to thank the honourable
member for some notice of the question.
(1) No.
(2) Yes.
Princess Margaret Hospital for Children must continue to provide safe care and
ancillary services to patients up until the last patient leaves Princess
Margaret Hospital for Children. Therefore, service contracts required to
maintain patient care and support will be extended for the required period,
creating more jobs.
