The Department of Transport advises:
(1) No
(2)(a)-(c) Not applicable
(3) Yes
(4)(a) By road in packages inside freight containers.
(b-c) Dangerous goods notifications to the Fremantle Port Authority for 2012 to date show three freight containers with a total of 40 kg.
(5) Yes.
(6)(a) By road in packages inside freight containers.
(b-c) Dangerous goods notifications to the Fremantle Port Authority for 2012 to date show nine freight containers with a total of 8 522 kg.
(7) The transport of dangerous goods by road in Western Australia is regulated by the Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP). The regulations administered by DMP address emergency planning and response requirements.  In addition there is a State emergency plan for hazardous materials emergencies managing spills of materials such as those referred to above, prepared by the Fire and Emergency Services Authority and known as Westplan Hazmat.
