(a) There were no applications for additional Government funding or resources for this hospital rejected by the Minister or the Government in the 2006-07 financial year.
(b) (i) 32 day beds were available in June 2007.
(ii) 32 day beds were available in July 2007.
(iii) From 1 December until 24 December 32 day beds were available. From 25 December 2007 to 31 December 2007 10 day beds were available.
(iv) From 1 January until 27 January 2008 10 day beds were available. From 28 January 2008 32 day beds were available.
The temporary closure of day beds were due to renovation being carried out on the Central Sterilising Supply Department (CSSD) and the beds were all reopened on 28 January 2008, when the renovations were completed.
