Department of Industry and Resources (1) Since the merger of the former Departments of Minerals and Energy and Resources Development, and more recent merger of the former Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources with the industry and trade elements of the former Department of Industry and Technology, the present Department of Industry and Resources currently has an External Affairs staff of 6, including administrative support. (2) At 30 June 2002 for the 5 staff in External Affairs at the Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources - $299,321.09. For the same period for the 7 staff at the Department of Industry and Technology - $430,986. Small Business Development Corporation (1) The Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC) employs two staff who deal with public affairs, public relations and media liaison as part of their roles within the Corporate Communications and Events section.
