(1) Can the Minister confirm if there is any policy or guidance in place to assist and/or advise Metropolitan Cemeteries Board (MCB) staff on how they should act in the event that they have immediate or close family members (parents, siblings, children, uncles, aunts, or grandparents) buried in an area of Karrakatta Cemetery being considered for renewal?
(2) If there is a policy, or some form of guidance, will the Minister please table that information?
(3) Are staff members required to recuse themselves from involvement in the selection of graves for retention (or areas being considered for renewal) under those circumstances, or to declare a conflict of interest?
(4) If no to (3), why not?
(5) Can the Minister confirm if any current MCB staff have advised the Minister or the Department of any such conflict of interest to date?
