Waitlists for intermediate care facilities are difficult to maintain because of the transient lifestyle of applicants who may have left Albany when a vacancy occurs without advising the agency of their departure. Instead a register of interest (ROI) is maintained and applications are considered for eligibility and compatibility when a vacancy occurs. The number expressed below refers to persons who have been assessed as eligible and compatible but have not been provided with a place in the relevant year.
