An initial assessment is made in relation to each case, which indicates that it is a possible reported suicide case, however that assessment may or may not be confirmed by the completion of the coroners’ finding. It is also possible for cases that were not initially identified as suspected suicides to be later confirmed as suicides upon closure.
It is important to note that some data is provisional and depending on the final determination of a coroner the data may change
