representing the Premier:
I refer to the
answer to question without notice 913 asked yesterday, Tuesday, 29 August.
(1) Will the Premier provide the names of the Woodside
Energy representatives present for the meetings held on —
(a) 21 June 2023;
(b) 18 July 2023;
(c) 24 July 2023;
(d) 15 August 2023;
and
(e) 22 August 2023?
(2) What was the
subject matter, and will the Premier table the minutes for each of the meetings
referred to in (1)?
(3) If no to (2),
why not?

(1) No. It would
not be appropriate to name individuals from a private company on the public
record without the knowledge or consent of those individuals. All private
individuals have a right to privacy.
(2) As the
Premier and Minister for State and Industry Development, Jobs and Trade, it is
essential to meet with resources companies
operating in Western Australia. The meetings were general in nature and related to the company's projects. No minutes of these meetings exist.
