I refer to the site where the former Albany primary school is located and ask - (1) Is the minister aware that the development of this site may be in breach of Albany’s town planning scheme 1A, and in particular clause 4.9? (2) If yes, does this establish an undesirable precedent for all major roads in Western Australia? Hon KEN TRAVERS
AnswerView source ↗
The member gave notice of this question on 20 October, and at that stage the minister was going - Hon Barbara Scott: Not another excuse! Hon KEN TRAVERS: Because I like Hon Robyn McSweeney so much - Hon Ray Halligan: Just answer the question. Hon KEN TRAVERS: At the time that notice of the question was given, the minister was about to travel and therefore asked that the question be put on notice. However, I was going to indicate that if the member asks the question again tomorrow, I will see if I can get an answer. If her friends do not shut up, I will not be as kind next time. Point of Order Hon DERRICK TOMLINSON: I take offence at the threat offered by the parliamentary secretary and ask that he be brought to order. The PRESIDENT: Yes. I thank the member but it was a prompt. Questions without Notice Resumed
