met; and, if not, why not?
(4) What is the revised completion date for the works?
(5) Will the works exceed the original amount budgeted; and,

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question.
(1) The
original scope of works included pile replacements and other minor substructure
repairs. A contract variation for footpath repairs was requested by Main Roads
for public safety reasons.
(2) The original completion date was 17 October 2014.
(3) The
original completion date of 17 October 2014 has been extended to 15 March 2015
to accommodate the footpath repair works.
(4) The contract variation works are expected to be completed
by 15 March 2015.
(5) A contract
variation of $280 000 has been issued to increase the original amount budgeted
to accommodate the additional cost of the footpath repair works.
