The $5 800 per student covers any charges for the international students for specific courses, books, sport and low cost excursions. The schools are required to use part of these funds for the costs accrued in providing and monitoring homestay and additional pastoral care for these students. The money also enables the schools to provide additional resources for all students such as books, equipment and for professional development for teachers.
