I refer to the Government’s investment in free TAFE courses and the importance of accurate enrolment and attendance data for funding and planning purposes, and I ask : (a) Can the Minister provide the total number of students who initially enrolled in the free TAFE courses offered in 2025 at South Regional TAFE; (b) Of those initial enrolments, how many students actually commenced and completed their courses; (c) Does the Government provide South Regional TAFE with funding based on initial enrolments or actual course attendance/completion; (d) If funding is tied to actual attendance, what has been the estimated financial impact on South Regional TAFE resulting from students withdrawing after initial enrolment; and (e) Are there measures in place to mitigate any funding shortfall to South Regional TAFE caused by students withdrawing from courses?

(b) 3,465 commenced, with 2,220 completed to date. Due to the nature of the vocational training system, including part time study options and varying course duration, students may complete their courses across different years.
