QuestionView source ↗

I refer to section 23D exemptions by the Department of Conservation and Land Management. When timber fellers apply to CALM for a section 23D exemption or commercial licence, do they pay the $25 only once per licence for a year or must they pay for an exemption for every property from which they take wood? Hon TOM STEPHENS

The fee for a commercial producer’s licence issued under section 23D of the Wildlife Conservation Act 1950 is $25 a year. Multiple properties may be applied for on a single application provided that the written permission of the relevant landowners and any information necessary to assess the application are submitted with the application. Does that answer the question? Hon Robyn McSweeney: It’s not what they are telling me.
