I refer to the 30 new hospital-in-the-home mental health beds outlined in the budget and ask how much has been allocated to implement this model, including administration costs, on a cost-per-bed basis: (a) How many staff will be employed per bed and what is the allocated budget for staffing this model; (b) How does this cost compare to an inpatient bed in a hospital; (c) Where will these beds be implemented; and (d) Will any be in regional areas? If not, why not?
