(1) Yes.
(2) The pantograph head which collects power from the overhead lines and transfers it to the train, became detached from the boom due to an impact from an unknown object.
(3) The Public Transport Authority (PTA) has developed an engineering modification to the boom to prevent this type of incident occurring again in the future.
(4) All emergency procedures such as transport of passengers from the disabled train were undertaken in accordance with the PTA's Emergency Management Procedures.
(5) All staff are trained in accordance with the PTA's Emergency Management Procedures.
