LIVE EXPORT — FEDERAL GOVERNMENT POLICY
682. Ms M.J. DAVIES to the Premier:
I have a supplementary question.
Does the Premier agree, despite his praise for Minister Jarvis, that the amount
that has now been offered falls millions of dollars short of what his own
department of agriculture and food calculated is required for the transition to
go forward?

I think I answered the member's
question in my first response, which is to say that the extra $32.7 million is
a good start and I congratulate Minister Jarvis on achieving that increase. However,
we believe that there should be more, and we will continue to advocate on
behalf of the Western Australian farmers.
