I refer to the Middleton Beach Activity Centre, and I ask: (a) what is the expected total cost of the project; (b) will the Minister provide a breakdown of the cost elements of the project; (c) was a business case prepared for the Middleton Beach Activity Centre project; (d) if yes, will the Minister table the business case and if not, why not; and (e) was the awarding of a contract for roadworks on Flinders Street subject to an open tender process and if not, why not?

(a) LandCorp’s expected total expenditure is $19 million.
(b) Land acquisition: $7 million; Land development costs: $12 million
(c)-(d) The 2014 business case for the Albany Middleton Beach project is a Cabinet document of the previous government. As such, the member is encouraged to refer this question to the Leader of the Opposition.
(e) Flinders Parade roadworks were procured through a competitive tender process.
