I refer to the recent inquiry and
the minister's apology concerning the conduct of the Department of
Education in the delivery of attendance plans for Halls Creek District High
School.
Why
did the minister not, as she conceded in her own words, ''push harder''
or view the plans, given the high-profile nature of the Ombudsman's
recommendations and the court action being taken against an officer in the
department concerning attendance data at Halls Creek?
