277. Hon SAMANTHA ROWE to the
minister representing the Minister for Local Government:
I refer to
the Minister for Local Government's recommendation to merge the City of
Belmont and the Shire of Kalamunda through a boundary change.
(1) If the decision is made to merge
Belmont and Kalamunda through a boundary change, will the minister commit to conducting a poll of
residents in Belmont and Kalamunda to gauge their support or opposition?
(2) If no to
(1), why not?
