I refer to the Bindoon bypass on the Great Northern Highway, and I ask: (a) Is land acquisition for the Southern section of the project now complete; (b) When will the roadworks between New Norcia and Seven Mile Hill be completed in the Northern section: (i) Why have no works been undertaken on this section in the past 12 months; (c) What is the total project cost to date; (d) Has the cost of the Southern section been reviewed and the funding shortfall established; and (e) When will works commence on the Southern section?

(a - e) Works on the northern section are due to be completed mid-2026.  In relation to the southern section, development activities such as design updates, geotechnical investigations, heritage surveys, land requirements, and environmental approvals are currently underway.
Delivery timing will be confirmed once this work is further advanced.
