I refer to the 22 local governments identified in 2013-14 as having financial compliance and control issues, and I ask: (a) were any of the identified local governments in the South West region; and (b) if yes to (a): (i) which local governments were identified; (ii) what specific issues of concern have been identified; (iii) have these issues been addressed by the identified local governments; and (iv) if yes to (iii), how have they been addressed?

(b)(i) Shire of Manjimup
(ii) The Shire only achieved benchmarks in two of seven new statutory financial and asset sustainability ratios that were introduced in 2012/13.
(iii)Trends in financial ratios over time are a more accurate indication of sustainability than a single year's result and when the audited annual financial report for 2013/14 is available, this will give an indication of whether improvement has occurred.
(iv) Not applicable.
