INTEGRATED SERVICE CENTRES — KOONDOOLA AND PARKWOOD
I have a supplementary question. Can the minister tell me whether there will be funding for this vital service to ensure that teachers can concentrate on teaching and that good services can be delivered to these people? Mr G.M. CASTRILLI

I think it is a great program that is being run there. The Minister for Education and I are engaged in discussions and are trying to identify funding options for the centres so that the program can continue. This was a pilot program established in March 2007, as the member knows. Ms J.M. Freeman : It is still a good program. It still needs to go on, minister. Mr G.M. CASTRILLI : I did not say that it was not. The SPEAKER : Does the member for Nollamara want to hear the answer? Mr G.M. CASTRILLI : I did not say that it was not. I said previously that I thought it was a good program. The former Labor government was asked for a four-year extension of the program, and that was rejected. It extended the program for only one year. Mr J.N. Hyde interjected. The SPEAKER : I formally call the member for Perth for the second time. Will the minister please conclude his remarks. Mr G.M. CASTRILLI : I reiterate that the Minister for Education and I are very seriously looking at — Several members interjected. The SPEAKER : I formally call the member for Warnbro for the second time. Mr G.M. CASTRILLI : I think I have concluded my comments. Tabling of Paper The SPEAKER : That concludes question time. However, before we move on, during question time the Minister for Education indicated that she would table a report. I ask her to do that. [See paper 922.]
