FREMANTLE EASTERN BYPASS RESERVATION - RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT
(1) What land has been acquired or is intended to be acquired by Homeswest on the site of the former Fremantle eastern bypass reservation? (2) What is the government intending to use the land for; and, if it is for any residential development, how many residential units will be created? (3) Has the government entered into any joint ventures, partnerships or other cooperative arrangements for residential development on this land; and, if so, what are the details of those arrangements? (1) The Department of Housing and Works advises that it has acquired the following lots in Beaconsfield: lots 1, 2 and 3 South Street, now amalgamated as lot 809; lots 40, 41 and 42 South Street, now amalgamated as lot 810; and lot 16 Lefroy Street. The department does not intend to acquire any additional land within the former Fremantle eastern bypass reservation. (2) The department intends to develop the land for housing. Sixty-one units will be created, including the sale of 27 residential lots. (3) No.
