(b) The Western Australia Police do not record the number of investigations that were initiated as a result of AUSTRAC non-requested information. (c) Access to AUSTRAC information by the Western Australia Police is subject to the requirements of Part 11, Division 4, Subdivision B of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006. The sharing of information between AUSTRAC and the Western Australia Police is governed by a memoranda of understanding.
