Hon. I refer to the ACIL Allen Perth Park Business Case Summary which attributes only fifty per cent of benefits from commercial and arts events on the basis that many of these events may otherwise have taken place at existing venues in Perth, and I ask: (a) what analysis supports this attribution rate; and (b) which specific venues are expected to lose commercial, theatre, music or arts events as a result of the development of Perth Park, and what is the estimated number of displaced events and associated economic impact for each affected venue?

(a)        The 50 per cent attribution rate is an assumption to ensure the BCR is based on conservative estimates.
(b)        The Perth Park facilities are aimed at addressing gaps in the entertainment, sporting and community event infrastructure to attract new events.
