ROE HIGHWAY STAGE 8, BEELIAR WETLANDS
(1) Is the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure aware that the Environmental Protection Authority assessment, the Freight Network Review, the October 2004 Murdoch University report and the Metropolitan Nyoongar Council of Elders recommend that Roe Highway stage 8 not go ahead along the existing road through the Beeliar wetlands? (2) Does the minister support the election promise made by Hon Jim McGinty at a Fremantle forum in February that Roe Highway stage 8 would not go ahead through the wetlands but stop at Kwinana Freeway? (3) Will the road reserve between North Lake and Bibra Lake be deleted from the metropolitan region scheme? (4) If yes, when? (5) If no, why not? Hon KEN TRAVERS
