I refer to the Esperance Tanker Jetty
and ask: (a) Is
the Minister considering lifting the Conservation Order on the jetty: (i) If
yes, when will the order be lifted; and (ii) What
is the reasoning for lifting the order; (b) Has
the Shire of Esperance confirmed with the Minister that it would not be funding
restoration of the jetty: (i) When
did the Shire advise the Minister; (c) Will
the State Government or any of its agencies be committing any funds to the
restoration of the jetty; (d) Has
the Minister received advice the jetty can be fully restored: (i) If
yes, which agency provided the advice; and (ii) Does
the Minister accept the advice; and (e) Has the Minister received advice from the Heritage Council that the Shire of Esperance is required to replace the timber decking affected by the establishment of the jetty headland infill: (i) If
yes, did the Minister or his department advise the Shire of its responsibility and when?
