(1) Have staff at the Busselton Senior High School recently been advised that their operating budget for administrative assistance, consumables and other, for the 2004 year is 65% of last year’s operating budget?
(2) Is it true that, as a result of this reduced operating budget, staff have been told not to do any photocopying for the foreseeable future?
(3) Was last year’s budget 70% of what the school had sought for its operating budget for that year?
(4) Are both of these cases of under-resourcing the staff operating budget a direct result of your decision last year to change student fees from being compulsory to voluntary, such that only 65% of parents are expected to pay the fees this year?
(5) Is it true that the operating budget for the mathematics department for the Collie Senior High School (which has some 600 students) is just $1,000 less than the entire operating budget of the Busselton Senior High School which has more than double Collie’s student numbers?
