I refer to the question I asked yesterday about residential properties with seven or more bedrooms. Because the answer appears to be deficient, I now ask how many eight or more bedroom properties are - (a) currently available; and where; (b) under construction; and where; and (c) proposed to be built; and where? Hon KATE DOUST

I thank the honourable member for some notice of this question. (a) Nil. Therefore, the Minister for Housing and Works’ answer to the honourable member’s question yesterday was not deficient, although the minister does concede that he incorrectly thought the honourable member would be aware of the non-existence of eight-bedroom properties. He should note that this does not include lodging houses, refuges, hostels and remote Aboriginal communities. (b) Nil. (c) This will be dependent on future demand and is assessed annually.
(b) under construction; and where; and (c) proposed to be built; and where?
