I refer to the current fuel crisis and I ask:(a) Is the Government’s focus solely on distribution, or is it also actively addressing the underlying supply shortage;(b) What specific steps are being taken to increase fuel supply into Western Australia;(c) What volume of fuel is currently entering WA each day compared to normal levels;(d) What proportion of that supply is being directed to regional Western Australia;(e) Will the Government commit to providing daily email briefings to regional MPs outlining supply levels, delivery timeframes and priority allocations;(f) Is there a publicly available dashboard or website providing daily updates on fuel availability, distribution and expected delivery timelines;(g) Who are the members of the Fuel Industry Operations Group (FIOG)? Please provide names, agencies and industry representation;(h) How often is the FIOG meeting, and can you provide minutes or summaries of those meetings;(i) What data is the FIOG relying on to inform its decisions;(j) Is the Government relying solely on data from the Joint Government Agencies (JGA), or has independent data been commissioned;(k) Has the Government commissioned any independent modelling or analysis to assess supply gaps and forecast shortages;(l) How is the FIOG informing whole-of-government coordination, particularly with agencies such as the Departments of Agriculture and Mining;(m) Are those departments actively feeding information back into FIOG to ensure priority industries are being protected;(n) What is the Government’s rationale and framework for prioritisation of fuel allocation;(o) Are primary producers, freight operators and emergency services formally recognised as priority users;(p) How is that prioritisation being enforced across distributors; and(q) What mechanisms are in place to ensure fairness and consistency in allocation decisions across regions?
