APACHE ENERGY GAS PLANT EXPLOSION — DIESEL SUPPLIES
I wish to ask a supplementary question. In view of what the minister has told us about the role of the committee, who will make decisions in the event of differing views about how gas or diesel supplies should be distributed or in the event of disputes? Mr F.M. LOGAN

AnswerView source ↗

The government will certainly not be determining who wins and who loses in this situation. Contracts are in place between retailers and suppliers of both gas and diesel. Those contracts will be recognised. The companies themselves have to work together to ensure that the priority also aligns with their own contractual entitlements.
