With regard to the Premier’s identification of his preferred site for an LNG development at James Price Point near Broome and Woodside Ltd’s lead role in the Browse LNG Development joint venture negotiations:
(1) How many meetings has the Premier had with Woodside Ltd since coming to office?
(2) How many meetings has the Premier had with environmental groups regarding the proposal since coming to office?
(3) How many meetings has the Premier had with the Federal Government with regards to the Browse LNG Development?

Office of the Premier advises:
(1) The Premier has met with Woodside three times since coming into office.
(2) The Premier has met with two environmental groups since coming into office.
(3-4) The Premier met with the Hon Martin Ferguson, Minister for Resources and Energy, at the signing of the ceremony of the Heads of Agreement with the Kimberley Land Council and traditional owners on 27 April 2009.
The Premier has discussed this matter with the Prime Minister and relevant Commonwealth Ministers, including the Minister for Resources, Energy and Tourism and Minister for Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs.
